BIOGRAPHY

 

 

Cecilia Freire is a mixed media artist. 

Born in Buenos Aires Argentina, currently living in Miami.

 

Graphic designer from UBA, Art studies with Jose Marchi in Buenos Aires and Laura Villarreal in Miami.

 

Worked as a graphic designer for several years in Buenos Aires and started working with art, especially portraits in collage using acrylics, papers, magazines, embroidery, oils, spray paint and resin.

I choose the portraits based on the emotion unveiled in the expression of the eyes of the model. From there on, the creative process reveals itself; it gains a life on its own.”
